This song was emailed to me by John nearly a year ago. It was this percolating synth that just ebbed and flowed for several minutes, but something really clicked with me. I started adding assloads of guitars, lots of kontakt drum kits, some apache flute samples, and plenty of ambient guitar scratches and stuff. And then Kingo showed up on our doorstep all bundled up in a Hickory Farms gift basket. After mux and I ate all the cheese and honey mustard, we went back to the SGC front porch and decided to ask the cute lil' fella to do a little singing.
Mux added some bass to this and some really cool synthy bits that warmed up the mix.
I'm not sure if John even remembers that I started working on this and then decided to ask my SGC brood to join me on this little voyage of strange. This is actually the first SGC mixed by someone other than mux...because he's a total hog, he never let anyone else do it. I'm just kidding. It's always an honor to play with these two assclowns, seriously.
Also, there's a track on this that consists of only Mary Lou Retton kicking Kingo in the nuts over and over again with a ham. Careful, don't make direct eye contact with the poodles...
